A young mother-of-two is dead after she was murdered by her boyfriend in a horrific murder-suicide, police said.
Nancy Garcia, 23, was found dead in the driver’s seat of a car parked outside her home in Austin, Texas on Friday morning.
The body of Omar Garcia, 26, was found lying in the home’s front yard near the car. A gun was beside him.

Authorities said both had gunshot wounds. A motive is not yet known.
Police were called to the scene after someone spotted Omar Garcia’s body while driving past the house around 7am on Friday.
Officials believe Omar Garcia first shot Nancy, who had two daughters, and then killed himself in front of their home.
Omar had previously been arrested for family assault.

Nancy was the victim, according to the Austin American-Statesman.
Although the couple share the same last name, they were not married.
Authorities said the couple’s death is not connected to the body that was discovered just a block away from their home last month.
The body of Johnny Cardenas, 31, was found less than a mile away on July 11.
Omar had previously been arrested for family assault and Nancy was the victim, police said
