A mother whose bathroom vanity was cluttered with skincare products has found a simple solution to reorganise the space.
The Australian woman said she used a $7 clear container with a lid from Kmart and Velcro strips to create her own wall unit to store all her beauty items after she was fed up with her products taking up space next to her basin.
Not only has she found a way to declutter her vanity, she said the removable feature allows her to take the box off the wall and take it with her when she goes away.

‘This is my simple little hack, I was getting sick of my face cleaning stuff cluttering up my vanity area,’ she said in a Facebook group.
‘I used my imagination with what little stock my Kmart had and got a ‘clear short container with lid’ from the kitchen section and some 3M Velcro strips.
‘Now I have somewhere off the counter to store my products and it’s removable, so when travelling I can just un-stick the Velcro from the wall and pack it straight in my suitcase.
‘The container is skinny enough that the mirror vanity door can still completely open and not interfere with the container.’
She said the lid on the container is quite secure so she’s confident the products won’t roll out, and she used four strips of Velcro ‘just to be safe’ when she mounted the box to the wall

After sharing her DIY beauty solution on social media, many described it as ‘genius’, ‘brilliant idea’ and ‘bathroom goals’.
‘That is an awesome hack. Definitely going to do that,’ one woman said, while another added: ‘That is honestly the best idea I have seen.’
Others said while they loved her idea, they were paranoid the box would fall off.
But the woman responded, saying: I do put extra Velcro on. This container probably wouldn’t weigh 2.5kg, I put four Velcro’s on just to be safe, I’ve never had anything fall off before.’
