But after the young man went under the knife for popular Thai show Let Me In Thailand, he got the overhaul he wanted, boosting his confidence.
But so radical was his transformation that his own mother took a moment to recognise her boy, admitting she missed his natural face.

Noppajit underwent jaw, forehead, and eyelid surgery as well as having salivary gland botox injections to fix his excessive drooling.

His mother said after seeing him for the first time: ‘I really miss him, and I’m not acting.
‘Mum, do you remember me? Look at me,’ Noppajit asked her as she continued to sob.
She replied: ‘Is it you? Is it really you?’

But he also said he is still in love with his girlfriend, a 26-year-old transgender woman he met on social media.
His love, identified as Tob, said: ‘I’m protective of him, but I’m not scared [of him leaving me]. We’ve trusted each other since the beginning.’
