Mother facing murder charges over the death of her newborn baby was ‘raped by an older man resulting in her falling pregnant’ – before infant’s blood-soaked body was found in a TOILET

A mother charged with murdering her newborn baby more than 20 years ago was allegedly raped and impregnated by an older man when she was a teenager.
The baby was a few hours old when it was found by a cleaner in a toilet block in Kambalda Caravan Park, near Kalgoorlie, Western Australia, on July 12, 1995.
The mother, who is now 38 years old, allegedly wrapped her son’s body in toilet paper and dumped him, Perth Now reported.
She was charged last month with wilful murder and was extradited from Victoria to Western Australia where she will face court.

Cold Case Homicide Squad detectives have now also arrested a 55-year-old man with six child sex offences, the publication reported.
Police will claim the man sexually assaulted the then 13-year-old girl and impregnated her, as well as continued unlawful sexual conduct with the young teenager.
He has been charged with two counts of sexual penetration of a child under 13, sexual penetration of a child over 13 and under 16.
The man was also charged with two counts of sexually penetrating a child over 16 under their authority and having a sexual relationship with a child under the age of 16.
He is due to appear in Perth Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.
