Liam Robertson was riding down a main road in New Westminster, Canada, when he saw what he believed was the missing motorcycle.

Using his helmet camera, Mr Robertson films the entire incident.

He turns round and rides over to the two people who are wheeling the bike along the roadside behind a sign that says ‘no trespassing’.

Liam Robertson approached two men wheeling a dirt bike by a main road in New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada

The pair are trying to fit the bike through a gap in the chain link fence that the sign is attached to.

Mr Robertson pretends to offer them help in order to get a closer look at the vehicle.

Once the pair have freed the bike Mr Robertson leaves and calls the police to report them and three police cars arrive.

A police officer asks Mr Robertson: ‘What makes you think it’s that bike?’

To which Mr Robertson explains it is the same model and color of the stolen bike belonging to his friend.

He adds that the plastic work has been stripped and the bike had the same skid plate as his friend’s.

One of the suspects then screams: ‘Let go of me I didn’t steal that bike!

‘Let go of me what is wrong with you people.’

Mr Robertson posted the video to his YouTube page and claims that the two men were both arrested, but police haven’t confirmed this.
