Motorist shows fake Del Boy driving licence to police

A driver who was stopped by police tried to fox the officer by handing her this Homer Simpson driving license

A driver who was stopped by police tried to fox the officer by handing her a Homer Simpson driving license. 

Instead of presenting an official pink license the male driver offered a similar version which was complete with a picture of Home Simpson.

The licence also featured the yellow character’s birthday, Springfield address and signature.

The car was stopped by PC Phillips in Milton Keynes earlier this week and seized after the driver failed to present a license and appeared to have no insurance.

Thames Valley Police traffic officers took to Twitter on March 15 and said: ‘Earlier this week, PC Phillips stopped a car in Milton Keynes, Bucks.

‘When she tried to identify the driver’s ID, she found the below…

‘The driver’s car was seized and he was reported for driving with no insurance and driving without a proper licence.

‘D’oh!’
