This is the terrifying moment a car was spotted driving across a bridge in South Carolina with its bonnet up.
During the startling footage the vehicle was filmed driving across the Ravenel Bridge for just over two minutes before it appeared to slow down and pull up in a safe location.
Despite the obstruction, the white car miraculously manages to drive in a straight line along the right-hand lane before pulling up once off the bridge.

One social media user commented: ‘Have had this happen to me years ago…you can still see through the gap at the bottom of the windshield.
‘Which allows you to pull off at a safe place. That bridge is not a safe place to stop if you are able to continue to a safer place…such as the shell station that driver is about to stop at.’

Another person said: ‘What is he suppose to do? Stop in the middle of the bridge? He pulled over as soon as he could.’
