Two men have been arrested and replica handguns seized after a fight between two women erupted at a shopping centre.

Police were called to the Westfield shopping centre on Carlisle Avenue in Mount Druitt, in Sydney’s west, just after 4pm on Monday following reports of a fight.

Two women were seen brawling on the ground, shoving and grabbing each other by the shirt in footage obtained by Nine News.

A man then intervened by allegedly hitting one of the women over the head with what appeared to be a firearm, before pointing it at her head.

He was charged with seven offences including carrying a firearm in a manner likely to injure and possessing prohibited drugs.

A second man, also aged 20, from Ropes Crossing was arrested. Another replica handgun was found in a bedroom at a home in the suburb.

He was charged with four offences with both men refused bail to face Mount Druitt Local Court on Tuesday.
