Sophie Hinchliffe, 29, from Essex, revealed she wakes up in the morning with ‘the worst joint pain’ which sometimes leaves her unable to walk

Asking for advice on her Instagram stories in the early hours of the morning, she wrote: ‘I’ve been waking up in the morning with the worst joint pain in my fingers and knees and sometimes I can’t even change Ronnie’s nappy or walk to the bathroom properly.’

Sharing her concern on social media, she wrote: ‘I’m hoping someone may be able to help me here. I’ve been putting off asking because I feel worried about it…’

She explained: ‘But for the last 4 weeks, I’ve been waking up in the morning with the worst joint pain  in my fingers and knees and sometimes I can’t even change Ronnie’s nappy or walk to the bathroom properly. Also the night sweats are still terrible.’

‘I’m just wondering if I’m going a bit mad or is this all something to do with post pregnancy.’

She went on to add she would book an appointment with her GP, but asked for advice from followers who may have suffered the same thing.

And later, she revealed: ‘Thank you so much for all your messages because it’s making me – I’m not as worried now.’

‘My thumb won’t even work this morning. My knees – it’s just so bad.’

She went on: ‘I’m still going to go and see my GP today and find out what I can do to help it. And it’s so uncomfortable.

‘I can’t wake up and even change Ronnie’s nappy without hurting – and I’m like what, that was never said to me.’

Joint pain after giving birth

After giving birth you may experience pain in joints throughout your body, including your hands, wrists, feet, and ankles.

Joint pain may be due to the position you were in during delivery and recovery.

Joints may also be affected by the chemical changes during pregnancy, which can cause them to loosen.

She released her hugely successful first book, ‘Hinch Yourself Happy’, in April this year, and the self-help guide made Amazon’s number one spot just eight hours after going on sale.

The former hairdresser’s new activity journal is set to drop on October 17 and features ‘light-hearted’ content such as colouring pages, puzzles and ‘Hinch’ lists’ of helpful tips and favourite products.

The book topped Amazon’s best-selling list as loyal fans rushed to pre-order the journal ahead of it’s release in October.

Mrs Hinch has shot to fame over the past year, gaining an army of followers.

The savvy cleaning aficionado first started sharing tips to her account when her husband began renovating their Maldon home which they had bought two years previously.

Sophie’s easy tips and spotless grey interiors fascinated the nation and beyond, and she quickly began racking up followers across the globe- even winning a best-selling book deal.
