This year’s ceremony was hosted by celebrity power couple singer-songwriter Rita Ora and Oscar-winning filmmaker Taika Waititi and marks the sixth time the awards show has been held in Germany.
Taylor Swift was the big winner of the night, bagging herself four awards.
Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj was winner of the Best Song prize for her track Super Freaky Girl and Harry Styles was awarded the gong for Best Live.
