A clever mum has revealed exactly how she shaves hours off her weekly meal prep every Sunday by adding one simple job to her cleaning list.

After putting together the weekly meal plan and shopping for ingredients the organised mum sort each night’s ingredients into abelled tubs.

She also puts the weekly menu up on the wall so her family know exactly what’s for dinner without having to ask.

And the Sunday job appeared to ‘tick the boxes’ for other house-proud mums.

‘Great job, now you can relax and enjoy your week, dinner sorted,’ one commended.

Others said the mum should ‘start her own Youtube channel’ to share more helpful tips.

The woman’s menu features crumbed lamb chops, chicken korma, creamy bacon tortellini and spaghetti with meatballs – among other family favourites.  

But her plastic containers and meal planner appeared to ‘steal the show’ for many of the women on the page.

She received dozens of comments asking where her white-lidded containers and weekly planner were from.

‘The planner is from Kmart, but it was a while ago,’ she said.

The popular retailer currently have similar planners for $6. 

The plastic containers are also from the store and cost $3.
