A mum has shared her hilarious online shopping gaffe after she ordered a pair of jeans that weren’t quite what she was expecting.

She shared the fashion ‘fail’ in a video posted to TikTok that left thousands in hysterics.
Melanie Wilmoth, from the US, has left millions online in stitches after she shared her hilarious online shopping fail
The mum ordered a pair of jeans from Shein but was surprised when she tried them on to find that the legs were so long it looked like she had ‘flippers’
Melanie bought a pair of skinny ‘stacked’ jeans from online fast fashion retailer Shein.
She knew the legs would be longer as the pants are meant to be styled so they’re bunched at the bottom
However when she received her parcel, she was amused to discover the flared legs went well below her toes.
The mum’s hilarious video has been viewed 30.2million times with many comparing her to a scuba diver.
‘Scuba Steve but make it denim,’ one viewer wrote while another laughed: ‘She got flippers lol’.
One woman said the jeans were giving ‘mermaid vibes’ and a second joked she looked ‘ready for swimming practice’
‘I laughed so hard I accidentally woke my kids up,’ another replied.
‘Pants were made for a giraffe,’ someone said.
Others weren’t convinced the blunder was a fail and said if she bunched them up at the ankle they would look ‘just like the picture’.
‘You got exactly what you ordered,’ one user pointed out.
Many thought the fashion fail was hysterical but some said the jeans needed to be pulled up. Melanie proved they were still too long in a follow-up clip where she called them ‘tacky’
‘Girl pull the pants up and it’ll literally be the picture,’ a second agreed.
But Melanie wasn’t having it, insisting the jeans are still ‘way too long’ even with the extra leg room pulled up.
‘You literally put on shoes and scrunch them in the way you want them to look but at the end of the day I don’t have to like this – this looks a little tacky and just too much,’ she said in a follow-up clip.
‘There are other stacked jeans out there and they look better than this, and these are too big.’
