‘Something a little different but still so satisfying! I restored the heavily oxidised and yellowed headlights on my Toyota Kluger,’ she said.

‘Took me all of 5 minutes, and will last for up to 6 months.’

Headlights become clouded over time as they are exposed to UV lights, which oxidises acrylic headlights, causing them to become yellow.

The mum explained that the packet comes with two wipes, one to deoxify the headlights and one to prevent UV rays causing yellowing again.

She wiped the outside of the light with the first wipe, then dried it with a paper towel and used the second wipe to protect the cleaned headlight.

‘Hopefully it works for a few months with my car sitting in searing sun 24/7,’ she said.

Car owners were very impressed with the results, and many tried out the product themselves. One mas said they made his 20-year-old headlights look 'brand new' (pictured)

‘Amazing. So quick and easy, made my 20-year-old headlights look brand new,’ one man said after trying the wipes.

‘I must say that I’m very impressed. I have been in the panel beating and spray painting trade for over 36 years and many time have had to sometimes remove head lights and clean them up, on average to get them as clean as possible it could be a hour or more,’ another commented.

‘I’ve tried $70 kits from car accessories stores without success, but these literally wiped away the cloudiness in seconds,’ another wrote.
