Aldi’s popular Di-San pre-wash cleaning spray has come to the rescue yet again after an Australian mum used the $1.25 product to transform the stain-ridden couch in her children’s playroom.

The IKEA fabric sofa was originally covered in stains due to constant heavy use from Tara’s three young kids.

The South Australian mum paired the Aldi spray with SARD Wonder Soap and her Bissell SpotClean device, priced at $239 on Amazon.

The Di-San pre-wash cleaning spray has gained a cult following as it can be used to clean a wide variety of items and surfaces, such as sneakers, rugs and ovens.

Sharing before and after images on Facebook, Tara said she first applied the Di-San stain remover spray onto the fabric then rubbed the bar of Wonder Soap thoroughly on top to lift the tough stains.

She then used the Bissell cleaner with the Oxy Pro Stain Remover and Spot & Stain Formula the product came with.

The Bissell cleaner helps removes spots, spills and stains with ease as it uses warm water combined with powerful suction, but will likely be an expensive buy for some.

Tara’s hard work and dedication to the task at hand paid off and the couch looked brand new once cleaned.

‘Thanks to everyone for recommending the Bissell spot cleaner!! This is the couch in my kids playroom, God knows what they have done to it but it now looks brand new!’ she wrote online.

After sharing the before and after images online thousands were in disbelief the cleaning method removed the tough stains.

‘Well done, perseverance paid off,’ one mum wrote.

‘A good save well done, reusable again and doesn’t go to landfill,’ another added.

‘Omg yes! My partner and kids are away all week I’m going to do this when I have a little bit of free time from work!’ a third said.
