Mummy blogger Constance Hall dismisses rumours that her marriage is on the rocks

Australian mummy blogger Constance Hall has dispelled rumours her marriage to Denim Cooke is on the rocks by sharing a lingerie photo to Facebook alongside a post about his attraction to her.

Fans of the outspoken mother-of-seven from Perth were rattled when she spoke about ‘dying alone’ in an Instagram post on Monday before she posted her latest update on Tuesday.

‘My husband is from a surf culture and he admits to falling victim to spending the majority of his life drawn only to the bikini body, the size eight beach bunny,’ the 35-year-old said.

‘Yet I see such attraction in his eyes when he sees my body, once I asked him what it was that changed him when he met me.’

‘He said: “It was your confidence. You tell people if you are sexy or not, not them… You. And you very quickly showed me how sexy you are”.’

The honest answer was met with an outpouring of love from Constance, who went on to talk about an intimate moment between the pair on Tuesday morning.

‘As he walked by me in the bathroom he glided his hands over my sandy desert-like rippled belly and whispered, “I couldn’t resist touching that”.’

On Monday Constance said she would ‘mother alone’ in an Instagram caption about giving up breastfeeding, suggesting the couple were on the verge of breaking up.

‘The very last baby I’ll ever breastfeed. There isn’t even any milk left in my boobs, he just sucks for comfort,’ she said.

‘It reminds me that I can do anything on my own. I was born alone, one day I will die alone.

‘In between that I will mother alone. someone may or may not stand next to me, but I mother alone.

‘No love will ever come close to making you feel as strong as independence does. You need nobody. Just yourself. Expect nothing of people. Be strong for your baby.’

Femail contacted Constance Hall for comment.

The pair share baby Raja; Constance had Billie-Violet, Arlo Love, Rumi and Snow with her former husband Bill and Raja has two sons, Zeyke and Sunny, from a previous marriage.

In May Constance decided to live stream a therapy session between the couple on her popular Facebook account, hoping they could sort through ‘the problems in our marriage’.

She broke the news with a post complaining about Denim ‘going off into his man cave’ when they have an argument.

‘When Denim and I argue or anything happens that he is uncomfortable with he goes into his man cave. And nothing I can do will draw him out of it. Shut down, lights off,’ Constance said.

‘Even if I confront him over something that’s really upsetting me, he shuts down.’

So in a bid to face their issues head on they hosted a live stream with ‘archetypal therapist’ and relationship expert Katie Eden Todd.

‘Denzy has agreed that our first relationship therapy session should be live on Facebook. He believes in our village and also believes that delving into the problems in our marriage could potentially help others in their marriage,’ Constance said.

Hinting that ‘s*** was about to get personal’ the news came just one day after the couple celebrated their son Raja’s first birthday.

In her usual way Constance curated a post on social media in honour of her youngest child.

‘Another baby, a new man, another little creature, another little teacher, to blur all of my days into one.’

She said the last year had been exhausting and tested her relationship with her husband.

‘You will resent him for sleeping so much, you’ll reject his offers for sex, he’ll resent your rejection so much he’ll shut down emotionally, leaving you feeling lonely and unloved and him feeling lonely and unloved,’ she said.

Constance also remarked that on a basic level she couldn’t trust Denim to do the weekly shop properly.

‘You would think I would send my husband to Woolworths for me but he turns into a caveman when he steps foot in there and returns from the weekly shop with “meat and bread”. What kind of meat? “Meat”,’ she told her 1.3 million followers.

So, after crying and leaving the morning school run to Denim, she bemoaned how he would probably ‘do it wrong’.

‘Yes Denim has probably put the wrong sandwiches in the wrong school bags and everyone will probably be late for school and feeling a bit weird that I’m not the one doing it,’ she said at the time.
