Australian parents are rushing to get their hands on a clever gadget designed to make snacking easier for bubs while shopping. 

The ‘Ontray’ easily clips onto the handle of your trolley allowing a child sitting in the baby seat to snack and stay entertained while parents do their shopping.

‘Omg I need this in my life,’ one mum excitedly wrote while another said: ‘Ohh where was this when my kids were younger!?’. 

The Ontray is designed so mums and dads can ‘stop juggling while they shop’. 

‘It’s a tray that holds your snacks, drinks, that spare dummy and other things you would normally carry,’ Rebecca described.

Hundreds of parents have bought the tray which comes in pink, blue, yellow and green. 

‘Just clip the Ontray onto the trolley bar, slide the lid off and you little can access the food while you shop,’ the website reads. 

But it’s not just for the little ones, the New South Wales mum said she uses it to hold her coffee during solo shopping trips and said she’s working on designing a tray with a cup holder. 

‘I need coffee to shop. So this is life for me. This is my spare Ontray that lives in the car for the days I forgot to pack the blue one,’ she said.
