A mum has revealed her clever oven cleaning hack using an inexpensive Bunnings Warehouse product. 

Sydney mum Kat sought out a glass scrape – the Oates 9.5cm Scraper Blade – which retails for $6.50. 

Her Facebook post revealing the trick has received more than 200 likes from stunned users who couldn’t believe the before and after photos she shared.

The mum shared online that the Scraper Blade can be located in the ‘Mop, Cleaning, Solution’ section of the store.  

Once home, Kat gently rubbed dish washing detergent and her home spray and wipe mix onto the oven door.

Kat left the mixture on her oven door for only 4 seconds, then started scraping and the grime came right off.

Another oven cleaning hack has gone viral after a professional cleaner revealed her three-step method for cleaning without using harsh chemicals.

Kacie, from Melbourne, published a demonstrative video on TikTok to unveil her method for quickly and easily removing stubborn oven grease.

She preheats the oven to ‘soften the grease’, before scrubbing at any food stains using used bicarbonate of soda and a kitchen scourer.

The helpful video has since been viewed more than 22,000 times, with many confessing they have been ‘wowed’ by her methods.
