  • Her husband used ‘Mould Power’ spray to clean the kitchen of their new home
  • The product does not contain chemicals typically used in mould killers
  • This means it can be used on most surfaces in kitchens and bathrooms

A mother has discovered a non-toxic cleaning spray that leaves sinks and kitchen surfaces sparkling – and it will set you back just $3.40.

Posting in the Australian Facebook group, Mums Who Clean, the woman said her husband used OzKleen ‘Mould Power’ to clean the kitchen of their new home in South Australia with impressive results.

Unlike traditional mould killers, the budget-friendly spray – which is currently marked down from $6.85 to $3.40 at Woolworths – does not contain chemicals like chlorine, ammonia or phosphates, which means it is safe to use on most surfaces.

The product claims to ‘kill mould spores’ and ‘prevent mould from forming’, as well as eliminating ‘99.9 percent of household germs’.

‘We have just bought a house in SA and my partner has just taken the first load across. He is sending me heaps of photos of his cleaning antics & wanted me to post it to this group,’ the woman wrote online.

She added: ‘He is quite proud of himself, paid $3.50 for the cleaner and it’s non-toxic.

‘He even takes photos of one side cleaned and one side not cleaned so we can appreciate the difference, I think we (Mums Who Clean) are rubbing off on men too!’

Photos of the couple’s sink taken before and after cleaning have gone viral, racking up 683 ‘likes’ and more than 100 responses from delighted homeowners.
