A musician has revealed that she was hired to sing at her cheating ex-boyfriend’s wedding without him realizing, and she decided to surprise him with a song about infidelity.
Alexandra Starr, an aspiring singer and songwriter from California, was in for a shock when she was asked to perform at her ex-boyfriend’s wedding to the girl that he had cheated on her with one year earlier.
The artist, who said she dated the unnamed man for more than five years before finding out that he had been unfaithful last fall, explained that she serves as a ‘cover singer,’ which means she often steps in for those who are unable to perform at local events.
So when the lead singer in the band that her ex had hired for his wedding called her and asked her to take her place, she felt it was a ‘sign’ and saw it as the perfect opportunity to get revenge.

In the clip, the couple – whose names have not been revealed – could be seen dancing romantically as their wedding guests watched on.
At first, Alexandra – who has her own song YFU on Spotify and Apple Music – kept her identity hidden by facing the band as she performed the song All of Me by John Legend.
But then, she transitioned into Carrie’s 2005 anthem, as she pivoted her body around so that she was in full view of her ex and his new wife.
