Musician hired to sing at unfaithful ex’s WEDDING to NEW WOMAN – sings Before He Cheats

A musician has revealed that she was hired to sing at her cheating ex-boyfriend’s wedding without him realizing, and she decided to surprise him with a song about infidelity.

Alexandra Starr, an aspiring singer and songwriter from California, was in for a shock when she was asked to perform at her ex-boyfriend’s wedding to the girl that he had cheated on her with one year earlier.

The artist, who said she dated the unnamed man for more than five years before finding out that he had been unfaithful last fall, explained that she serves as a ‘cover singer,’ which means she often steps in for those who are unable to perform at local events.

So when the lead singer in the band that her ex had hired for his wedding called her and asked her to take her place, she felt it was a ‘sign’ and saw it as the perfect opportunity to get revenge.

Her former flame was in for a major shock when she started belting out the song Before He Cheats by Carrie Underwood – and threw water all over him before storming out of the wedding in a dramatic moment that was captured and shared to TikTok.

Alexandra hid her face for the first part of the evening, but as the couple took to the floor for their first dance together, she started singing the country hit – which is all about getting back at an unfaithful ex – as she turned around to show her face.

Both the bride and groom appeared uncomfortable as the realization hit them, while a friend of the newlyweds attempted to get Alexandra to stop.

She posted a clip of the shocking moment to the video streaming app last month, where it quickly went viral – gaining more than nine million views in a matter of days and leaving many people on the web in shambles.

In the clip, the couple – whose names have not been revealed – could be seen dancing romantically as their wedding guests watched on.

At first, Alexandra – who has her own song YFU on Spotify and Apple Music – kept her identity hidden by facing the band as she performed the song All of Me by John Legend.

But then, she transitioned into Carrie’s 2005 anthem, as she pivoted her body around so that she was in full view of her ex and his new wife.

‘Right now, he’s probably slow dancin’ with a bleached-blond tramp and she’s probably gettin’ frisky,’ she sang. ‘And he don’t know…

‘I dug my key into the side of his pretty little souped-up four-wheel drive. Carved my name into his leather seats.

‘I took a Louisville slugger to both headlights. I slashed a hole in all four tires. Maybe next time he’ll think before he cheats.’

The blonde bride, who donned a white wedding dress, could be seen looking around at her friends and family, appearing confused and upset, while a friend tried to console her.

The groom also appeared stunned and unsure of how to handle the situation.

Before the events transpired, Alexandra opened up about her plans to surprise the couple with the song in another video, explaining, ‘Look, I know I should probably be the bigger person and walk away, especially because I’m inevitably going to get my heart broken that day, but I’m done being the nice girl.’

‘We dated for five and a half years and lived together and we married the “other woman” after just a year,’ she added.

Alexandra later wrote a song about the intense moment, which she showcased in a different TikTok video.

‘I almost declined, but I’m way too petty and karmas a b***h, so let’s call it a sign, a gift from the Gods or whatever it is,’ the lyrics read.

‘We were five years strong, he wasted no time moving on. So I’m not sorry, it’s a Hell of a story.

‘Here comes the bride, all dressed in white, I turned around, his eyes met mine. I almost cried, that day was supposed to be mine.

‘I threw water in his face, but it should have been wine. But then I walked away, with everyone watching.

‘I didn’t get paid, and if you’re wondering – Yes I got fired and I’d do it all again.’

Alexandra’s actions sparked a major debate on the web – some viewers slammed her for ruining the couple’s big day, while others defended her, calling it a ‘once in a lifetime opportunity.’

‘This is so mean. His poor wife,’ wrote one person, while another added: ‘No class.’

‘Everyone telling her to be the bigger person… This is a once in a lifetime opportunity,’ defended one user. ‘The stars aligned for this.’

‘This is main character energy and I’m loving it,’ said someone else.

Someone else said it was ‘revenge’ for ‘all the girls who never got the revenge they deserved.’

‘This is so dark… But oddly satisfying. Its the vindication for me,’ read another comment.

Others, however, accused her of faking the whole thing in an attempt to gain attention and promote her music.

‘Bruh, this looks so staged,’ wrote one person, while another agreed, ‘This just didn’t seem believable.’

‘This is definitely just one big ad to promote her song,’ theorized someone else.

‘Best marketing strategy ever,’ said a different user.
