A mystery actress transformed into a bridal Brigitte Bardot over the Easter weekend as filming for the biopic continued in Saint Tropez.
Production company France 2 have remained tight-lipped on the actress’ identity, but she effortlessly embodied the French icon for the upcoming series, Bardot.
Pictures captured the blonde actress in a distinctive wedding dress as she filmed nuptials with onscreen husband Noham Edje.

Brigette – who now at 87 still remains a pop culture icon – has been married four times.
She married filmmaker Roger Vadim in 1952 but they divorced just years later in 1957, however went on to work together in The Night Heaven Fell. In 1959, she tied the knot with Jacques Charrier and they had a son Nicolas together before splitting up in 1962.
She then married millionaire Gunter Sachs, divorcing three years later, before she tied the knot with far-right political aide Bernard d’Ormale in 1992, who she is still with today.
It is not known who Noham is portraying, however the onscreen couple appeared to have chemistry in abundance as they shared a kiss on the beach during the ceremony.

Another photograph taken on the set shows the unnamed actress sitting at the back of a bus wearing a red jumper, pulling a pensive expression.
Throughout filming, the star sported Brigitte’s signature golden tresses with a feathered fringe.
Bardot is a mini-series biopic about Brigitte’s life from 1949, when she first graced a magazine cover, to the birth of her son in 1960, according to Variety.

The series, which is being produced by Federation Entertainment with France Televisions, was written by Oscar-nominated screenwriter Danièle Thompson and will be directed by Christopher Thompson.
French stars Géraldine Pailhas, Victor Belmondo and Hippolyte Girardot will star in the biopic, an industry source has claimed.

Since retiring from acting, she has devoted herself to the Brigitte Bardot Foundation, which she set up in 1986 with money raised from selling off her jewellery, while she runs an animal sanctuary in the French Riviera resort of St Tropez.
In recent years, Brigitte has become a controversial figure, and has been convicted in the past over her comments about Muslims.

In November, she was fined 20,000 euros (£17,000) by a court on France’s Indian Ocean island of La Reunion over a 2019 diatribe where she described its inhabitants as ‘savages’.
She launched the rambling attack against the inhabitants of La Reunion, one of France’s overseas territories spread across the Indo-Pacific and Caribbean, in response to what she saw as their mistreatment of animals.
Her spokesman Bruno Jacquelin was also fined by the court in the main town of Saint-Denis de la Reunion 4,000 euros (£3,400) for his role in sending the statement to several media outlets at her request.
