A man admitted to a New York hospital remembers nothing more than his first name and basic details about his life.
The NYPD released a photograph of the man on Tuesday, hoping that someone will recognize him.
The mysterious patient was admitted to Bellevue Hospital at the end of October and has been there ever since.

The man, who gave his name as ‘John,’ appears to be between the ages of 65 and 75 and first came to the hospital with a broken leg.
He added that he was born and still lives in Manhattan, but was unable to provide much more information.
Hospital staff notified the police of his memory struggle on Monday.
