Melbourne Cup Carnival’s Oaks Day is all about ladies.

And as expected, former WAG Nadia Bartel impressed with a classic and feminine ensemble on Thursday’s race day.

The 34-year-old posed up a storm as she arrived at Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne, sporting a show-stopping $300 puffed sleeve dress by Misha Collection which hugged her slender frame.

The Melbourne Cup Carnival Ambassador showed off her shoulders and décolletage in the chic number, as she placed her blonde locks back into a pinned ponytail.

Nadia’s standout accessory was her oversized pink bow, used as a centerpiece on her ponytail.

A smaller version of the silk bow by Nerida Winter retails for $695.

‘All about pretty details on Oaks, love this bow,’ she captioned a photo on Instagram, adding: ‘Oaks Day ready @flemingtonvrc I am excited to be on track today to announce the winner of the @myer Fashions On The Front Lawn competition, I have loved judging all the fashions this year.’

In official photos taken at the event, Nadia was seen teasing the camera as she sultrily peeked her head over her shoulder, while the gentle breeze whisked her hair from her face to show off her ageless visage.

She also posed in front of a huge man-made birdcage, where animals crafted from flowers made for the perfect backdrop.

Also posting their Oaks Day looks on social media were model Rebecca Harding and Mark Philippoussis’ wife Silvana.

Model Rebecca wore a sleeveless suit dress which flaunted her trim pins, and added a pink fascinator to complete her look.

Meanwhile, Silvana stood out in a pastel blue dress-coat with ruffle detailing and black trousers underneath.

Appearing on Studio 10 hours before the event, Nadia revealed she actually was a little behind on her prep.

She told hosts Sarah Harris and Tristan MacManus: ‘I actually don’t have my outfit yet, typical COVID issues at the moment, but Oaks Day is all about the florals, pretty and pinks, and hopefully it’s going to be arriving soon.’

‘I think there will be a little bit of pink to it,’ she hinted.

Many celebrities were not able to attend Flemington this year, due to COVID:19 restrictions – instead choosing to celebrate race day at their homes.

Nadia was a regular at the various race days last year, and was a ray of sunshine at the 2019 Melbourne Cup in a zesty yellow outfit.

She added to her bright look last year with an over-sized, wide brim hat, which were seen on catwalk icons and WAGs alike as a standout accessory of the season.
