This comes after Nadine revealed that she is to bring back Girls Aloud as a solo act.

Nadine, who was labelled ‘the voice’ of the Sound of the Underground hitmakers will embark on a solo greatest hits tour which will see her perform many of the band’s biggest hits as well as new solo tracks.

It was claimed by The Sun that Nadine decided on the solo tour after her bandmates ‘refused’ a reunion.

Nadine told the website: ‘I love the Girls Aloud songs and get messages from fans asking to hear them performed live again. So this is giving them what they want.

‘This tour is gonna be one big party night out. All the hits the fans love plus the new songs I’ve been working on over the last few years. I literally can’t wait to get out back on the road again.’

Nadine’s previous attempts at a solo career have proved largely unsuccessful, with only one of her four singles cracking the top 20.

She raises daughter Anaíya, three, with her American partner Jason Bell, 36,

In September Nadine admitted that bitterness ran rife during the group’s heyday – with her lead vocals causing a ‘bitter’ rift among the stars.

Speaking to The Sun, she said: ‘It was fine at the start but there’s always politics in any band. It just happened that I always got more vocals than everybody else, so in terms of people wanting their voice heard, that wasn’t happening.

‘It made people, very bitter. They didn’t like that. It’s so sad for me to have to admit this stuff now because for so long, there’s the band, and you want everybody to think we’re best friends and we have pillow fights and, you know, drink milkshakes.

‘That’s what I wanted it to be. I really, really wanted that to be, but it just wasn’t how it was. We’re all very, very different characters.’

While it didn’t appear to matter for the likes of the Spice Girls – who thrived on each girl’s individuality – Nadine retains that their differences led to the eventual split in 2013 – a decision made on the final night of their ten year anniversary tour.

Girls Aloud were formed on talent show Popstars: The Rivals in 2002 and achieved 22 Top 40 singles, six UK tours, five studio albums and gained the Christmas number one spot with their debut track Sound Of The Underground.

While Cheryl, 34,  Nicola, 32 and Kimberley, 36 have remained close and in constant contact, the career paths of Girls Aloud have gone in very different directions.

Nicola is currently working as a songwriter while Kimberley has worked as a TV presenter, West End star and is mother to sons Bobby and Cole.

And Sarah, 36, has also attempted a solo career which failed to crack the charts, and won last summer’s series of Celebrity Big Brother.
