Nadiya Bychkova has dismissed swirling rumours regarding her love life as ‘sexist’, amid her blossoming romance with her fellow Strictly professional, Kai Widdrington.
The ballroom dancer, 32, is meanwhile reportedly toying with the emotions of her footballer former fiancé Matija Škarabot, 33, by removing and putting her engagement ring back on again during public outings.
She shares a six-year-old daughter Mila with the professional sportsman and the pair speak regularly despite her budding relationship with Kai, according to an insider.

A source told The Sun: ‘She’s still talking to Matija and he thinks there is still hope. One day she’ll have the ring on but by the afternoon it could be off. These pictures of her and Kai will devastate him.’
She previously told Slovenian magazine, Nova, in an unearthed interview: ‘When I came to a new environment in London, I was immediately labelled a model, Ukrainian beauty and seductress.
‘It took me a while to realise that I am also a successful dancer, a mum, and a completely normal woman.’
Nadiya, who has appeared on the front cover of Slovenia’s Playboy and FHM, previously left her first love and dance partner Miha Vodicar for another dancer Peter Klinc.

An insider told the publication: ‘She’s fiery, passionate and stunningly sexy. Men just couldn’t help falling for her, and she couldn’t restrain herself either.’

Nadiya, who was born in Ukraine, moved to Slovenia when she was 15, where she flourished as a model and dancer.
She first dated her long-term dancing partner Miha, who she won world championship titles with.

Nadiya then enjoyed a romance with singer and guitarist Jan Plestenjak, now 48, in 2012. He is 16 years her senior.
A year later, the blonde beauty enjoyed a romance with Russian dancer Sergey Konovaltsev, who she tied the knot with. Their marriage came to an end in 2015.
She then entered a liason with Anze Cerin, who is the son of a cycling champion and successful businessman.

Only a few months later, their fling came to an end and one year on, she found herself pregnant with Matija’s child.
It’s been reported that while expecting her first child, she penned an emotional love letter to Miha, in which she began: ‘In the most beautiful embrace, we danced to the very top.
‘Now, when our paths diverge, I want you, from the bottom of my heart, to achieve all the goals you have set yourself. Thanks for ten unforgettable years. Good luck.’

It follows reports that Nadiya and Kai are planning a trip to the Canary Islands for Valentine’s Day.
On their upcoming Valentine’s Day trip, a source close to Nadiya told The Sun: ‘The tour finishes on February 13 so they’ll be just in time. They’re keen to have some time together alone.’
It comes after the pair appeared to finally confirm their romance as they were spotted kissing in a hotel bar on Thursday.
The dancing professionals had been at the centre of romance rumours for weeks as they’ve been reported to have grown close in the wake of Nadiya’s split from Matija.

And Nadiya certainly seems to have moved on as she locked lips with fellow dancer Kai in what appeared to be the lobby of Newcastle’s Malmaison hotel.
The pair could be seen leaning in close as they shared an intimate moment together during a cosy coffee date.
The Ukrainian-Slovenian star was seen earlier leaving the hotel in Gateshead where the Strictly stars are staying and jumping into cab to meet Kai at the Malmaison.

She stopped at a coffee shop next door to grab them both a drink before joining him for a cosy 30 minute date away from their fellow dancers.
The pair then left the hotel separately to rejoin everyone else at the arena to continue the next leg of the Strictly live tour.
A source told The Sun of their meeting: ‘They didn’t seem to care who could see them. It’s clear they’re massively loved up.’
The insider continued: ‘Nadiya and Kai met away from the other dancers and celebrities, who were a mile up the road in the Travelodge. She had bought Kai a coffee from Starbucks next door and they talked and cuddled before having a kiss.’
They added the pair didn’t want anybody ‘gossiping’ as there’s already been ‘so much speculation.’
The publication reports that the couple shared their first kiss at the end of week one on the main Strictly show – despite strong Covid restrictions in place at the time.
A second source confirmed that despite Nadiya’s close friendship with her celebrity partner Dan Walker and rumours Kai was dating AJ Odudu, Nadiya has been ‘single a while’ and Kai was ‘never dating AJ’ – adding that romance struck when they were both ‘free agents’.
They added that the relationship is ‘early days’ but the couple are ‘happy’.
