Nashville teens perform songs from The Greatest Showman

A trio of talented teenage girls are making waves online thanks to their a capella videos of them singing popular songs.

Performing under the name Dae3, singers Darby Cappillino, Ellie Barnett and Anna Beth Shults, from Nashville, Tennessee, only started posted videos on their YouTube channel since January 2018. 

But while they may be new to the world of YouTube, that didn’t stop their latest video, featuring music from The Greatest Showman, from going viral, racking up nearly 283,000 views since it was posted.

The teens captioned it with: ‘We just got back from seeing The Greatest Showman (for the 100th time) & we were inspired to make a medley of our favorites!’ 

In the video, the three girls can be seen talking turns to sing solo parts and also sing in perfect harmony without the help of any background music. 

They started with The Greatest Show before moving onto Come Alive and A Million Dreams. 

The girls then sang This Is Me, the hit song performed by Keala Settle in the movie, before finishing with From Now On.

And their fans have been quick to comment on the video and their flawless arrangement of the popular tunes. 

YouTube fan Maria Hodson shared: ‘Wow! Beautifully put together and wonderful voices. P.S. The Greatest Showman is quite possibly one of my favorite films of all time. Keep up the great work, girls!’

While Alyssa Anne typed: ‘This was breathtaking’.

The Chronicles of Beth wrote: ‘Bravo ladies. You all have fantastic talent. I got so emotional watching this movie, and during your portion of “From Now On” I was tearing up. Beautiful vocals ladies, lovely harmonization. Keep it up. I would absolutely watch more mash ups. I want more.’

And even people who haven’t seen the movie are mesmerized by their talents, with Jessica Karen sharing: ‘I saw this on Facebook and have just watched it like five times straight! I haven’t even seen the movie but I’m obsessed with this…’

So far the trio have also posted videos of them singing an 80s medley, a Disney medley and the national anthem.  

However they are now also taking requests for songs and keeping fans in the loop via their Facebook page.

‘We love that music is an international language. We are so excited to see people from around the globe following our page,’ they wrote.
