Natalie Portman hints she could make a permanent move Down Under in Vogue Australia

Actress Natalie Portman, 37, enjoyed an extensive idyllic holiday Down Under late last year with her husband and two children.

And now, the Oscar winner has revealed her love for the Australia, hinting she could make a permanent move to the continent.

Gracing the April cover of Vogue Australia, the Israeli-born Hollywood star called the country a ‘dream’ and said her family ‘loves it.’

‘My family does not want to leave: they just love it here,’ Natalie said of Australia.

The actress spent time at the picturesque Byron Bay on the New South Wales North Coast, along with the Victorian capital of Melbourne, with both locations leaving a lasting impression.

‘The people are so warm, so friendly, the food is unbelievable, the nature’s astonishing… I’m very admiring of this nation,’ she told the publication.

Natalie enjoyed the holiday with her husband Benjamin Millepied, 41, along with their two children Aleph, seven, and Amalia, 23 months.

During her time in Australia in November, Natalie was spotted at a Melbourne Demons soccer team training session at the city’s Gosch’s Paddock.

The Star Wars actress fawned over the game – with the Australian football code having teams for men and women – saying she wished it was similar in the US.

‘It’s so cool that there are women’s [football] teams,’ she said.

‘[The move] has gotten more female fans and more male fans, which is great. I wish we had that [in the US].’

The highly-acclaimed actress looked every inch the Hollywood star on the cover of the fashion magazine, donning several distinct looks.

On the cover, Natalie is at her elegant and graceful best as she leans against a chair, shooting the camera a serious look.

The actress opted for an avant-garde outfit, slipping her slender physique into a mesh bodysuit which had an elaborate, structured sheer dress over it.

In a glamorous second photo from the shoot, Natalie appeared to make an homage to her Oscar-winning performance in 2011 blockbuster, Black Swan.

The star is clad in an elegant fishnet body suit which is covered by a stylish sheer transparent top and skirt.

Two other black-and-white photographs show Natalie in a more traditionally male pose, wearing a tight white suit in one snap.

Yet another photograph shows a more feminine Natalie donning a dress, while looking into a dressing room mirror.
