Nate Diaz has posted a picture of himself urinating on UFC property amid his ongoing contract row with the organisation.

The fan favourite shared the image on Twitter with the caption: ‘Taking a p*** on the ufc pi I could do this cause I get paid more than all u guys and they won’t cut me.’

Diaz has one fight remaining on his deal and has repeatedly spoken about his desire to leave the promotion as soon as he can.

The Stockton fighter is frustrated by the inactivity and continued wait for the UFC to give him a final walk to the octagon.

It seems the promotion are reluctant to allow one of their pay-per-view stars to walk off as a free agent, causing friction between both parties.

Diaz’s rebellion has ramped up with his latest act of petty defiance at the Performance Institute, where fighters can go to train at the high-tech facility.

Diaz recently railed against his employer using him and his brother Nick to sell NFTs on 4/20 day after they previously sanctioned both for use of marijuana.

The 37-year-old replied to the UFC’s post on social media, saying: ‘It’s s*** like this why I need to get the f*** out of the sorry a** UFC.

‘Didn’t you guys suspend Nick [Diaz] for five years and fine me loads of money for a vape pen?! Now you’re reaping the benefits. I hope nobody buys this bull****.’

He followed up a few days later by criticising the company for ‘slow rolling’ him, adding: ‘I been trying to fight everybody and no go what’s the hold up UFC?

‘I’m not fighting Conor he sucks. I’ll fight some one quit slow rolling me please Thanks.’

Diaz  recently posted his desire to fight Michael Chandler following his win over Tony Ferguson, writing: ‘UFC got me on ice for a year now chandlers obviously ready to fight send a contract it’s time.’

It will be fascinating to see how Dana White and Co play the situation in the coming months as they look to keep hold of a valuable asset.
