A 24-year-old Navy sailor has been reported missing in Connecticut after police said he left his home on his motorcycle and vanished.
The Groton Police Department have issued an alert for Jacob Tyler, who was last seen on Tuesday morning when he left his Groton home.
Authorities said Tyler was last seen on his blue 2014 Honda CBR with Connecticut license plate 00KSVK.

According to his mother, Barbara Tyler, he is an ensign serving aboard the submarine USS North Dakota docked at the Naval Submarine Base in New London, Connecticut.
His mother wrote on Facebook that her son left his apartment after ‘talking to his roommate’s wife briefly’.
‘He never made it to work on the USS North Dakota Submarine docked at Naval Submarine Base New London.
‘Some facts don’t make sense but him just not showing up for work is the most important,’ she said in the Facebook post.
She said that his roommates thought they saw him dressed for work, but his uniform, pins and boots were found in his room.
Jacob Tyler is described as standing at 5-foot-11 and weighing about 220 pounds.
Authorities said it’s not known what he was wearing when he went missing, police said.
