Naya Rivera drowned to death ‘in minutes,’ according to her death certificate.

Details about The 33-year-old actress’ fatal accident emerged Thursday, three weeks after her tragic death at Lake Piru outside of Los Angeles.

The certificate also revealed that the Glee star was buried last Friday at the famous Forest Lawn Memorial Park cemetery in the Hollywood Hills.

Naya’s death certificate confirms several facts regarding the case.

The cause of death is officially listed as a ‘drowning’ which occurred at Lake Piru, where her body was found 13th. The document also says the mother-of-one died ‘in minutes.’

It further indicated that an autopsy was performed and determined the death was accidental, with no underlying causes or ailments. No drugs or alcohol were present in her system either.

The cemetery has become the eternal home for many in the entertainment world, with stars like Paul Walker, Nipsey Hussle, Lucille Ball, and Liberace also interred there.

Other notables include Britney Murphy, Carrie Fisher, Debbie Reynolds, David Carradine, John Ritter, Bette Davis, Gene Autry, and Buster Keaton. 

Naya went missing on Wednesday, July 8th during a visit to Lake Piru with four-year-old son Josey.

That evening, he was found asleep in his life jacket on their pontoon but there was no trace of the 33-year-old.

According to authorities, Naya’s last moments were spent saving her son.

Police say it appears Rivera ‘mustered enough energy to get her son back on the boat, but not enough to save herself’, after confirming the body of the star was found.  

Her family shared a statement in memory of Naya after her body was recovered last week, saying: ‘Heaven gained our sassy angel.’

‘We are so grateful for the outpouring of love and prayers for Naya, Josey and our family over the past week,’ the family said. ‘While we grieve the loss of our beautiful legend, we are blessed to honor her everlasting legacy and magnetic spirit. Naya was an amazing talent, but was an even greater person, mother, daughter and sister.’
