Lopez says Young didn’t obey the officers, became upset and caused a delay.

Footage taken by local artist and musician Trappy Smoov shows the moment the professional athlete was placed into custody on what appears to be the famous Sunset Strip.

Young, 33, was booked into jail at 2:19am on Saturday and released on $10,000 bail at 3:21am

A court date was set for September 19 in Los Angeles Municipal Court. Young is currently a free agent.

This isn’t the first time Young has had a run in with LAPD.

The 33-year-old later claimed one of the officers heckled him about the Lakers and their poor winning record.
