Steph Curry is a man accustomed to seeing the net ripple satisfyingly as he shoots at will, and his ball skills appear to translate to penalty taking.

The NBA star took in Chelsea’s 0-0 draw against Arsenal at Stamford Bridge and was allowed on the turf to take a spot kick after the final whistle. 

With the stadium empty, Curry and a few others gathered around for a quick kick about and the 29-year-old tested himself from 12 yards.

The languid Golden State Warriors point guard ambled up before unleashing an impressive strike high into the goal.

He shared his exploits on Twitter and Instagram and added the caption: ‘I’m nice with the right foot though…thanks to Chelsea for having me at Stamford Bridge today.’

Curry was not the only famous face in attendance as club legend John Terry also watched on from the stands. 

The duo even posed for a picture together on a sunny afternoon in south west London. 

Having helped the Golden State Warriors to the Championship last season, Curry will be looking to exhibit his skills once more when the season begins on October 17.
