Neighbours fans can now book a stay at Dr Karl’s iconic home on Ramsay Street

Ever wonder what life is really like on Ramsay Street? 

Ahead of Neighbours’ final episode, Booking.com is giving away a two-night stay at the Melbourne property used to depict the fictional home of Dr Karl Kennedy and wife Susan on the show.

One lucky couple will have the opportunity to reside in the famous property, known on the show as 28 Ramsay Street, from 27 – 28 July, coinciding with the Australian broadcast of Neighbours’ 90-minute finale on 10 and 10Peach.

The nostalgic stay also includes a visit from Alan Fletcher, who has played Dr Karl for the last 28 years, as he hosts an intimate barbecue with beers in the backyard.

The red-brick property, located at 5 Pin Oak Court, Vermont South, boasts a private master suite, a contemporary kitchen, two living spaces and an outdoor entertaining area. 

It is located 15 km from Dandenong, and complimentary private parking is available.

Snagging this incredible experience won’t be easy, as it will be awarded on a first in, first booked basis. 

Bookings open on July 12, and the first person to reserve the experience via the Booking.com website will be the winner. 

The booking will set you back just $28AUD – an homage to the final time 28 Ramsay Street will appear on screens.

Neighbours was axed following a historic 37-year run in March after the UK’s Channel 5 decided not to renew its contract with production company Fremantle to finance and broadcast the series.

Earlier this week, Neighbours star Fletcher admitted the cast found it ‘overwhelming’ to film their final scenes on the show. 

Speaking To The Mirror, the actor said:  ‘It was very hard to fight back tears as we were saying the dialogue for what was going to be the last moments of the show. 

‘One of my favourites was Guy Pearce. There wasn’t a single person who was asked to do something for the end, who was available, who said no’; Alan revealed.
