Neiman Marcus is known for packing its annual ‘Fantasy Gifts’ list with wild, extravagant items — but for the past two years, the department store has kept every gift it spotlighted under a million dollars.
Luckily, this year’s shopping guide turns its nose up at the paupers who presumably scooped up the $345,000 Alaskan getaway and $190,000 worth of jewels it offered in 2020.
Topping the list this year is a $6.1 million 30.86-carat diamond ring — plus the chance to officially name the hefty stone and register it with the Gemological Institute of America.
Other splurges this year include a $395,000 party, a $235,000 Jackson Hole ski adventure with Lindsey Vonn, and a $285,000 one-of-a-kind car.

‘There are diamonds, and then there’s the breathtaking Mughal Heart,’ says Neiman Marcus of the priciest item in this year’s shopping guide.

One lucky and loaded buyer won’t just get to own the gem — they’ll get official naming rights, too, getting the change ro change the name from ‘Mughal’ to whatever they want and register that name change with the Gemological Institute of America.
‘Throughout time, important gems have taken on the names of their owners, forever linking the jewels to the families that owned them,’ said Vice President, Precious Jewels, Larry Pelzel. ‘It is an honor for Neiman Marcus to offer the opportunity to rename this masterpiece after the recipient and have this iconic diamond carry your name into history.’
As with all Fantasy Gift purchases, this one includes a charitable aspect: Neiman Marcus will donate $300,000 to The Heart of Neiman Marcus Foundation.

The fete will be planned for just 20 people, who will be outfitted with flapper-esque costume accessories and get their hair and makeup professionally done.
Food will include hors d’oeuvres, specialty cocktails, top-shelf vodka, and a caviar tasting station, as well as a Michelin-starred chef-prepared three-course dinner on the Apollo stage.

Dubbed ‘The Ultimate Renewable Luxury Experience,’ this gift starts with ‘giving big by putting items back into the world to be reused and recycled.’
Style advisors from the consignment boutique Fashionphile will pay a personal visit to go through the customer’s closet, identifying items that they can sell at the store.
The customer then gets to go on a $100,000 shopping spree at Neiman Marcus with the store’s fashion and lifestyle director, Lisa Aiken.
‘Lisa will share her expertise and help to evolve your wardrobe, creating a curated collection of the latest looks and new styles for you to add to your rotation,’ says the brand.
But with just a $100,000 shopping spree, where does that other $245,000 factor in? The last part of the trip includes two first-class round-trip flights to San Diego, California, where the customer will stay at the our Seasons Residence Club Aviara for two nights.
They’ll also get to visit Fashionphile’s headquarters, where they can pick out five vintage pieces that can be swapped out for others over the course of 12 months with an all-access pass.

The car is based on the Hummer EV Edition 1, but has been developed by auction company Barrett-Jackson to be one-of-a-kind.
The design includes handcrafted leather seats, anodized metal accents, a bespoke steering wheel, and transparent sky panels.
It also has a ‘Watts to Freedom’ feature, which enables it to go from zero to 60 mph in just three seconds.

The trip starts in Ílhavo with a stay at the five-star Montebelo Vista Alegre Ílhavo Hotel. There, the customer will get a spa treatment, tour nearby attractions, and enjoy dinner at the hotel restaurant.
There’ll be a private tour of the Vista Alegre Porcelain Factory, where they’ll meet with a designer and put together a custom dinner set — which can include monograms, family crests, and more.
From there, a private driver will transport the customer to Costa Nova and Aveiro to enjoy the beaches, architecture, and food.

The customer will get more than 50 books from the Little People, Big Dreams series, which tells the stories of people like Coco Chanel, Elton John, Dolly Parton, Michael Jordan, Frida Kahlo, RuPaul, Andry Warhol, Vivienne Westwood, and Georgia O’Keefe.
But to make it extra special, an adult and child will visit Quarto Publishing’s headquarters in the UK, where they’ll meet the publisher and artist and participate in an illustration workshop.
They’ll then get to collaborate with author Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara on a 24-page book based on the child’s own story.
Twenty-five hardbound copies will be delivered upon completion.
