The extension received an update earlier this month in preparation of that much of the public would be home and Netflix has added seven more servers to meet the demand.

As coronavirus spreads across the globe, many are opting to self-isolate in order to limit the spread of the virus, leaving many boarded up in their homes alone.
However, Netflix users are beginning to use the firm’s feature that lets them watch content with family and friends, without being in the same room, as first reported on by Business Insider.
Those invited will also have to download the feature in order to participate.
Users download the extension to their computer and select create a ‘Netflix Party’.
This allows them to select other people to join and share a link to the video or show to watch, as well as chat with the group in real-time.
