Viewers  got a heartwarming surprise when NBC New York captured the sweet moment a New Jersey couple became engaged during the station’s weather coverage.  

Reporter Brian Thompson was at the Jersey Shore covering a storm expected to drench the tri-state area when camera’s accidentally captured a marriage proposal. 

According to NBC 4, Tyler Osborne brought his girlfriend Lisa Snyder back to the exact spot they shared their first kiss 15 months ago.

This time, Osborne dropped on one knee. 

In the video, Osborne pulls out the ring as the waves crash behind the Highland couple and the wind blows their hair. 

Lisa excitedly says yes and the pair have a visible gleam in their eye as they speak to Thompson.

The couple says they’ve known marriage was in their stars since the first day they met.  

‘Since the second I met her. No doubt,’ Tyler says. ‘There was no doubt in my mind.’ 

The marriage proposal also happened to fall on Lisa’s 30th birthday, giving the couple another reason to celebrate.
