New messages show mystery man in Belgium fed detailed information on Ukraine ambassador

The House Judiciary released a new tranche of information Friday night that shed new light on the alleged surveillance of former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch – including a newly revealed contact between a Trump ally and a person wtih a Belgian phone number.

One exchange features an official photo of Yovanovitch – the ambassador fired by President Trump after a push by Rudy Giuliani and his associates – sent by the mystery Belgian form his mobile phone to Robert Hyde, a Donald Trump loyalist who is running for Congress.

‘My contacts are checking,’ says a message appended to the photo.

New documents released by the House Judiciary Committee show a person from a Belgian number feeding information about former ambassador Marie Yovanovitch

The person writes from a Belgian country code, 32, according to documents the Democratic-run House committee provited for Trump’s Senate impeachment trial.

It was included along with a hashtag #yourfired. The unidentified person has a WhatsApp picture that shows him wearing a green shirt and sunglasses.

The person also sent a brief audio message to Hyde.

‘Um it’s confirmed she’s in Ukraine,’ says the person, who has what may be an Eastern European accent.

‘Awesome,’ responds Hyde, who on Friday released a lengthy video brushing off claims of surveillance while also acknowledging he got information about Yovanovitch from a source.

Later, person writing from a Belgian exchange writes another message to Hyde. It is either from a different Belgian contact or the person changed their WhatsApp profile picture. The full number has been blacked out.

‘Nothing has changed she is still moving,’ the person writes Hyde, who was visited at his home by FBI officials this week.

‘It’s confirmed we have a person inside,’ he writes. ‘Hey broski tell me what we are doing what’s the next step,’ says another message.

A series of morning messages provide additional updates. ‘She had visitors,’ says one. ‘Hey brother do we stand down???’ says one evening message, whose full meeting could not be immediately known.

‘Or you still need intel be safe,’ it added. ‘Asked,’ Hyde responded.

Other exchanges have Hyde telling the person he is ‘stateside’ and asking the Belgian number: ‘How long are you there?’

‘End of April,’ the person responds. ‘Congratulations on your new business development,’ he wrote Hyde, a former Marine who runs a landscaping business and is running for Congress as a Republican for a Connecticut House seat. He also has been pictured with President Trump.

Hyde didn’t open – but circled in yellow using the App – a message including an address in Ukrianian and an additional message, both of which Hyde circled.

‘She been there since Thursday never left the embassy,’ it says, in language that makes clear what local was being monitored.

The new information appears to mesh with messages released this week between Hyde and indicted Giuliani associate Lev Parnas.

In those messages, Hyde provides updates to Parnas about the location of Yovanovitch, who Trump would call ‘bad news’ in his infamous call to the president of Ukraine.

‘F*** that b***,’ Hyde writes of Yovanovitch in one message to Parnas dated March 22. On March 23, Hyde forwards a screen grab of a picture of Yovanovitch provided by the Belgian exchange with the number’s message that ‘my contacts are checking.’

Hyde also writes that ‘she under heavy protection outside Kiev.’

‘My guy thinks maybe FSB,’ Hyde writes, mentioning the Russian KGB successor.

A March 25 file forwarded by Hyde shows the circled screen grab with the address and information about Yovanovitich’s location.

The existing of the first batch of messages drew howls of protest including from Yovanovitch’s lawyer, who called for an investigation.

Secretary of State Pompeo finally said Friday, three days after their release, that the matter would be looked at.

The information comes as Democrats are demanding witnesses be called and documents sought as part of the Trump impeachment. Parnas provided the information to the House intelligence committee just days ago after getting approval from a federal judge overseeing his case following his indictment on charges of using a straw donor to give thousands to a pro-Trump super PAC.
