New mother Princess Beatrice beams as she joins Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi for London Art Fair

New mother Princess Beatrice appeared to be thoroughly enjoying a day out with husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi as they visited the London Art Fair earlier today.

The 33-year-old princess, who gave birth to her first daughter Sienna last month, beamed as she joined her husband Edo at the event in Regent’s Park this morning.

The royal wore a casual outfit for the outing, wrapping up warm in a camel coat with a pair of stylish black boots for the occasion.

It’s the second time Beatrice has appeared in public since giving birth weeks ago, after the couple were spotted strolling around London with their daughter in a pushchair last week.

Meanwhile Lady Amelia Windsor, 26, who is 41st in line to the throne, also made an appearance at the art fair this afternoon.

Lady Helen Taylor, 51, who is the only daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Kent, also joined the royals at the event.

Once affectionately called ‘Melons’ by the press for her ample proportions – a nickname she admitted she hated – she married art dealer Timothy Verner Taylor in 1992.

She is a cousin of the Queen and 25th in line to the throne, and is regarded as one of the public’s favourite royals.

Beatrice tied the knot with Edo in September 2020 and the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter called Sienna, last month.

The Queen’s granddaughter gave birth to a baby girl weighing 6lbs 2oz at 11.42pm on Saturday 18 September at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, in London.

Last week, Beatrice and her husband Edo Mapelli Mozzi posted an image of the newborn’s footprints while announcing they had decided to call her Sienna Elizabeth, in a touching tribute to the Queen.

The baby girl was born 11th in line to the throne, and although their mother is a princess they will be plain Miss Mozzi – and a half-sibling and will also be a half-sibling to Edo’s son, Wolfie.

Sienna is the second grandchild for Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, and will be the Queen’s eleventh great-grandchild.

Beatrice, who is ninth in line to the throne, is the only princess in the British royal family to marry someone with children and take on a stepchild.

Her property tycoon husband shares a young son, two-year-old Christopher ‘Wolfie’ Woolf, with his glamorous former fiancée of three-and-a-half years, Dara Huang.

The Queen ‘s granddaughter described her role as a stepmother to Edo’s son Wolfie, five, calling him her ‘bonus son’ during an interview with author Giovanna Fletcher for Hello!’s Back to School digital issue.

It’s been a rocky week for Beatrice, who’s father Prince Andrew has been embroiled in a scandal over his friendship with paedophile financer Jeffrey Epstein.

The 61-year-old Duke of York, who lives at Royal Lodge in Windsor, was photographed behind the wheel of his Range Rover yesterday morning as he broke cover following the latest dramatic development in the case on Sunday night.

Scotland Yard has decided to take no further action over accuser Virginia Roberts’s allegation that she was trafficked to London as a 17-year-old and forced to have sex with Andrew, after its officers reportedly spoke with her.

It will also take no further action over claims that financier Epstein groomed and abused other young women in Britain.

And a source close to the Duke told MailOnline: ‘It comes as no surprise that the Met Police have confirmed that, having reviewed the sex assault claims against The Duke for a third time, they are taking no further action.

‘Despite pressure from the media and claims of new evidence, the Met have concluded that the claims are not sufficient to warrant any further investigation. The Duke has always vigorously maintained his innocence and continues to do so.’
