To add to its impressive features, the seven-bedroom, 13-bathroom home boasts a putting green, koi pond and a Hawaiian-themed natural oasis with a tiki hut and sandy beach.

The amphitheater is covered in colorful scatter cushions, with photographs also showing an outdoor cocktail bar with stools for guests.

A large hammock, trampoline and swing can be seen in photographs which Jennifer’s children, 11-year-old twins Max and Emme, with ex-husband Marc Anthony, often take advantage of — together with Alex’s daughters, Natasha, 14 and Ella, 11, with ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis.

The compound was originally designed by famed architecture Samuel Marx in 1954, but fell into disrepair until actress Sela Ward and her entrepreneur husband Howard Sherman stepped and snapped it up for $3.8 million.

They carried out extensive renovation work in 2003 and paid tribute to her Southern heritage, creating a dream house which attracted mega star Jennifer, and now fiancé Alex who has settled in well.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Jennifer gushed about her perfect family home, sharing: ‘We walked into this house, and I said, ”This is where I want my kids to grow up.”

‘You have to imagine your life, and what you want to be in it, and I imagined we would be very happy here no matter what.’
