Golden’s spokesman John Quaglione told the newspaper that the skydiving event was in keeping with the senator’s ‘extraordinary career in public service’ both as a policeman and politician.
‘Senator Golden skydived, to support our veterans, in tandem with an instructor and his landing was of no impact to his legs,’ Quaglione said.
Golden was elected to represent Brooklyn’s 22nd Senate District in 2002. He’s currently the vice chair of the Majority Conference.
