An adorable photo of a baby, seemingly taken moments after the tot was born has set the internet alight – after eagle-eyed viewers spotted something in the snap.

The image, which was posted on the Bubs Warehouse International Facebook page, appeared to feature a nurse in scrubs holding a crying baby. 

‘Some people are in such a hurry to put the picture of baby on Facebook. They just forget some things before posting,’ the snap was captioned.

The picture quickly created a wave of reaction on social media – after viewers took a closer look at the background to the image.

The situation certainly brought back memories for many women on social media – with some saying that had found themselves in that very predicament.

‘Hahahahahaha this happened to me with my son – my mum did the picture of my son on the weighing table thingy all focused on him not realising and put it on Facebook without realising,’ one mother wrote. ‘Yep I was in the photo.’

‘Omg this actually was my mum she got camera happy in the delivery room beautiful newborn baby and completely forgetting my gina wad out,’ another mother wrote. 

‘Thankfully it didn’t make fb it did get printed at the photographers though.’

However, others were left positively mortified at the prospect of such a scenario happening to them post-birth.

‘OMG!!! I will die if my hubby was posting this with a caption “welcome to the world our baby boy/girl”,’ one person wrote.

‘Just a friendly reminder to let me vett the fb announcement photo please,’ [sic] another woman wrote to her partner.

The image has garnered seven thousand likes and almost 800 shares since it was posted online.
