Paulina Porizkova has revealed that she was ‘booted off’ the dating app Hinge following her breakup with Aaron Sorkin, admitting she has also been striking out on the invite-only platform Raya.
The supermodel, who announced her split earlier this week, took to Instagram on Thursday to share a sunbathing selfie while griping about her issues with Hinge, saying the app is once again failing her now that she is single.
‘OK. What’s up, @hinge ? I signed up a while back, and was booted off instantly because I had violated guide lines. I didn’t even get to post my photo. My name, it seems, is against guidelines?’ Porizkova, 56, explained.

‘I called, I emailed. No one bothered to reply,’ she added. ‘Then, a friend suggested I use a different phone number and my nickname. I got a few nice dates that way. And boom, now when I need it — I discover @hinge has booted me off again! What’s a lady to do?’

More than 1,600 people commented on Porizkova’s post about Hinge, and many were convinced the app assumed she was being impersonated and disabled the account.
‘They can’t even believe such gorgeous woman is using their app,’ YouTube host Maiah Ocando wrote, while fitness model Torrie Wilson added: ‘Lol I bet they think you are an imposter.’
Others said insisted she should be on Raya, the exclusive dating app loved by celebrities.
However, Porizkova admitted she hasn’t had any luck on it because of her age.
‘Am on it!’ she wrote in the comments. ‘Unfortunately — it seems the gentlemen of Raya prefer them young.’
A spokesperson for Hinge confirmed to DailyMail.com that other users thought Porizkova was an imposter and reported her account as fake.

The app reinstated her account and publicly apologized to the model in the comments section of her post.
‘We are so sorry for the heartache we’ve caused you! We want everyone to have a positive Hinge experience that ultimately leads to finding love,’ Hinge wrote. ‘People thought having you on Hinge was too good to be true and immediately reported your profile for being fake. Your account is back on the runway with a few Roses on us.’
Porizkova announced her split from Sorkin on Tuesday after roughly three months together. She posted a photo of herself and her now-ex, 60, out for a walk with a broken heart emoji over it.
In the caption, she gushed about how wonderful the Oscar-winning screenwriter is, calling him ‘witty’ and ‘sexy.’ She never explicitly revealed why their relationship came to an end, but she alluded to them being too different.
‘I’m so grateful for his presence in my life. He helped heal me and reclaim myself. There truly may be no better man, no man who’s more genuinely “good,”‘ she wrote. ‘He’s brilliant and witty and funny and sexy.

The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit alum went on to note that she will not be speaking of their breakup in the future out of respect for Sorkin.
‘As unfiltered as I usually am, this involves someone else’s privacy — so this is all I’ll ever say on the subject,’ she concluded.
Sorkin was the first man Porizkova has been publicly linked to since the death of her estranged husband, rocker Ric Ocasek, in September 2019.

The screenwriter-director and his ex-wife share one child, a 20-year-old daughter named Roxy.
Sorkin and Porizkova made their red carpet debut at the Academy Awards in April, with the model dazzling in a shimmery gold dress.

She joked on Instagram that she wanted to ‘look like a female Oscar’ so her date ‘could still take one home’ if he didn’t win his category.
Later, in a New York Times profile, she revealed that Sorkin, whom she called a ‘great kisser,’ invited her to the Oscars for their second date.
The A-list couple’s surprise pairing made a huge splash at the ceremony held at Los Angeles’ Union Station, and Porizkova said she was nervous about making things official at such a huge event.
‘This is going to kind of take me off the market for a little bit,’ she told Sorkin, who won an Oscar for his 2009 Facebook biopic The Social Network.
‘OK,’ he replied.
It’s unclear when Porizkova and Sorkin parted ways, but she has been busy jet-setting around the globe this month, with trips to Rome, Costa Rica, New York, and Los Angeles.

‘We’re told we need to wear masks again. So @thelizcarey and I are obliging,’ Paulina cheekily wrote in the caption. She went on to pay tribute to those closest to her, saying they give her everything she needs.
