One of MLS’ two Los Angeles clubs has reportedly made an approach to sign Neymar.

Neymar’s future is in limbo with the PSG winger said to be seeking a move away from the club.

And according to L’Equipe, either Los Angeles FC or the Los Angeles Galaxy has made an approach to sign the Brazilian.

Crucially, the Galaxy do not have an open designated player spot to sign Neymar, with Javier Hernandez, Riqui Puig and Douglas Costa filling those spots.

LAFC has one open DP spot, and could look to add Neymar a year after signing Gareth Bale and winning MLS Cup with the Welshman.

Fabrizio Romano previously reported that there was ‘concrete interest’ in the 31-year-old from America, particularly from LAFC.

Romano said in his latest Daily Briefing for CaughtOffside that Neymar’s preference is to return to Barcelona, though no decision has yet been made by the Catalan side.

Saudi Arabia is also said to be a potential destination for the Brazilian.

Regardless, it seems that Neymar will be departing Paris.

French publication RMC Sport previously claimed that Neymar, Marco Verratti, Hugo Ekitike, Juan Bernat and Renato Sanches were told they are ‘not part of PSG’s project.’

And L’Equipe reported that the two parties have ‘agreed to find a common solution before the end of the transfer window.’
