Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins teams up with Dannii Minogue for Netflix series

Nick ‘The Honey Badger’ Cummins is currently handing out roses on this year’s season of The Bachelor.

And it seems the rugby star is enjoying his transition to television, as he is now set to appear in a series for streaming giant, Netflix.

The 30-year-old is joining Dannii Minogue, 46, for the third season of Ultimate Beatmaster, set for release next Friday.

Ultimate Beatmaster is a ‘competition reality show’ which features ultra-fit contestants taking on perilous obstacle courses.

The franchise has been compared to Australian Ninja Warrior and Australian Spartan, but is on a far larger scale.

This coming season of the show is set to feature more than 100 competitors from 13 different countries.

While two previous seasons have already been made, the forthcoming third season marks the first time Australia has been involved in the production.

Nick and Dannii will be calling commentary on behalf of their county.

The special gig is the latest in a long-line of TV roles for Dannii, who first shot to fame on Young Talent Time back in the 1980s.

She has since appeared as an actress on Neighbours, and as a judge on both the Australian and UK editions of The X-Factor.

Dannii is now hosting Channel Seven’s Dance Boss, however the program has been struggling in the ratings.

In contrast, Nick’s role on The Bachelor is his first foray into television, and has been a ratings smash.

Thursday’s episode of the romantic reality show garnered 807,000 viewers across the five-city metro market.
