Nick Kyrgios’ girlfriend Costeen Hatzi reveals how the couple met

Costeen Hatzi met her boyfriend Nick Kyrgios in a very modern way. 

The couple struck up a courtship over Instagram direct messages (DMs) when the tennis champ, 26, asked about buying a mirror from her small business. 

‘He was apparently scrolling through Insta and saw my business account post,’ the 21-year-old said in a now-expired Instagram Stories post.  

‘He messaged my business account asking if the mirror was available for pick-up and then messaged my personal [account] asking the same thing.

‘It was a professional/friendly conversation and then he came to pick up the mirror from Sydney.’

She went on to say that once the pair met in person, they fell head over heels in love.

‘After that he moved all of his work and training to Sydney and has pretty much been living in Sydney since,’ she said

‘I had no idea this was all a plan, I literally thought he was buying a mirror.  He picked up the mirror and, as he would say, “it was love at first sight,”‘ she added. 

Costeen says the pair have been inseparable since meeting and Nick relocated his life to Sydney to be with her.  

‘After that he moved all of his work and training to Sydney and has pretty much been living in Sydney since,’ she said.

She raced out to give Nick a kiss after he won the men’s doubles final alongside Thanasi Kokkinakis against fellow Aussies Matthew Ebden and Max Purcell at the the Australian Open late last month.
