Nicky Hilton dishes on birthday plans for daughter: ‘Auntie Paris taking everyone to Disneyland’

Nicky Hilton’s daughter Teddy will turn five just a few days before Christmas and ‘auntie’ Paris Hilton is ensuring that her birthday celebration won’t get overshadowed by the holiday.

During an exclusive conversation with DailyMail.com about her newest collaboration, The Nicky Hilton x Sun House Children’s Resort Collection, Nicky dished on all the fun instore for her family this holiday season.

The 39-year-old mother of three revealed that her sister Paris will be treating the family to a whirlwind trip to Disneyland to celebrate Teddy’s birthday – which will be a first for Teddy, four, and big sister Lily-Grace, six.

Mommy mogul: Nicky Hilton chatted exclusively with DailyMail.com about the holidays and an epic gift from sister Paris while promoting her new Nicky Hilton x Sun House Children’s Resort Collection

‘Auntie Paris has promised to take everyone to Disneyland for her birthday. So that’s going to be fun,’ Nicky said, adding with a laugh: ‘It’s going to be quite the day.’

Nicky and her husband, James Rothschild, have been holding off on a Disney trip until their girls were old enough to enjoy it. Now that Paris has offered to lead the charge, Nicky revealed that they’re going to do it up just like they did when she and Paris were kids.

‘When we were little, my parents and I and Paris and the boys would check into Disneyland Hotel and spend the whole day, be there till night time, and wake up in the morning and do it again,’ she recalled.

Teddy’s birthday trip will fall just five days before Christmas and the New York based Hilton-Rothschilds traditionally spend the holiday season in California with the whole Hilton clan so the timing is perfect.

Nicky said she is looking forward to getting together with family for Christmas, however, she still hasn’t decided what to get for sister Paris who is notoriously difficult to buy for.

‘I don’t know what I’ll get her,’ she said thoughtfully. ‘She’s a very, very hard one to shop for. Nicky added: ‘She just moved into a new house so perhaps something for the house.’

It’s going to be a busy holiday this year for Nicky who welcomed her third child and first boy four months ago. ‘Our family is growing at an exponential rate,’ she quipped.

Luckily, Hilton said her pregnancy and post-partum life has been pretty easy, plus, she gets help from her two girls.

'They love it. It's great,' she gushed. 'It's like having two extra sets of hands to help out, and not an ounce of jealousy, thank God. I was a little nervous about that. But they are definitely doting big sisters.'

Her children – and her cat – served as creative inspiration for Nicky’s latest business endeavor, a line of sustainable children’s swimsuits with southern brand, Sun House Children’s.

Nicky was initially introduced to the company by her mom, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kathy Hilton, who had discovered them on Instagram and bought items for the girls.

‘What really drew me to this brand is the story behind it,’ she said. ‘I love women supporting women, and I love a brand that seems to share the same values as me.’

‘I just I thought, they’re are so great. It’s these two young mothers from the south,’ Nicky explained. ‘Their designs really captured their southern charm and elegance.’

The Nicky Hilton x Sun House Children’s Resort Collection dropped at the beginning of the month and features swimwear, playsets and scrunchies at price points between $9-$68.

The items are crafted from sustainable materials and feature prints and embellishments designed by Nicky who made them extremely meaningful to her.

‘If you take a look at the one of the prints, you can see my two little girls on the swings and then my cat. I just wanted to make it really personal and sweet.’ she said. ‘In the process I found out I was having a boy. So I was like, okay, now you have to add some things for the little boys. So we came up with the little duck shorts.’
