Nicolas Cage, 60, steps out with son Kal-El, 18, on vacation in Italy – as his other son Weston, 33, is investigated by police for allegedly attacking his mother

Nicolas Cage cut a colorful figure as he stepped out with his son Kal-El Coppola Cage, 18, while on vacation in Italy.  

The Arcadian star, 60, wore a very loud and bright patterned shirt and shorts in shades of yellow, orange, blue, purple, red and black.

Cage wore black sunglasses and white athletic shoes and was in stark contrast to his teenage son, who wore black from head-to-toe.

The father-son duo were photographed as they descended some steps in Venice on Friday.

Cage shares Kal-El with his ex-wife Alice Kim. He also has another son, Weston Coppola Cage, 33, with ex-girlfriend Christina Fulton.

Weston was arrested last month for allegedly assaulting his mother Christina during a reported mental health crisis.

The Face/Off actor also has a daughter August Francesca, whom he welcomed with his current wife Riko Shibata, 29, on September 7, 2022.

The nephew of Francis Ford Coppola was also previously married to the late Lisa Marie Presley and actress Patricia Arquette. 

Cage recently appeared in the Action/Horror film Arcadian as Paul, the father of teenage twin sons. 

‘In the near future on a decimated Earth, Paul and his twin sons face terror at night when ferocious creatures awaken,’ the official logline for the film began.

‘When Paul is nearly killed, the boys come up with a plan for survival, using everything their father taught them to keep him alive.’

His son Weston was booked last month on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, the LAPD confirmed. He was subsequently released that same day.

The scuffle between Weston and Fulton occurred on April 28 in the Los Angeles area, when a verbal dispute reportedly turned physical.

‘On April 28th, 2024, around 5:30 p.m., I received urgent messages from friends of my son, Weston Cage, regarding his deteriorating mental state, urging me to come help,’ Fulton said in a statement obtained by People.

‘When I arrived to offer support and console him, he was already in the midst of a manic rage. Within minutes, I was brutally assaulted and sustained serious injuries,’ she claimed.

At one point, the Leaving Las Vegas star looked deep in conversation on his phone

Cage recently appeared in the Action/Horror film Arcadian as Paul, the father of teenage twin sons

‘Despite my desperate pleas to the responding police officers to detain him for a mental-health evaluation, the police officers refused my request.’

Fulton added in her statement: ‘As a mother, I am deeply saddened and concerned about Weston’s ongoing mental-health crisis. It is imperative that he receives the help he desperately needs,’ she concluded.

The LAPD confirmed that Weston was booked on July 10 for assault with a deadly weapon – just weeks after his mother was spotted with intense bruises on her face.

Weston was released on a $150,000 bail. The U.S. Sun reported that his father is believed to be the one who bailed him out.
