She is one of Australia’s most well-known and successful actresses.

But on Thursday, Nicole Kidman looked unrecognisable as she posed in a short red wig on the set of new anthology series for Apple TV+ Roar.

The 54-year-old Big Little Lies star ditched her strawberry blonde tresses for the Pixie cut which framed her features perfectly.

In a photo shared to Instagram, Nicole closed her eyes as she threw her hand into the air while posing.

‘On set #Roar #FemaleFilmmakers,’ she captioned the post.

The screenplays for Roar are being adapted by GLOW showrunners Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch from a collection of short stories by Cecelia Ahern.

Nine Perfect Strangers is based on Liane Moriarty’s bestselling novel of the same name.

The series stars Melissa McCarthy, Bobby Canavale, Regina Hall, Luke Evans, Samara Weaving and Manny Jacinto.

Last year, Nicole told The Daily Telegraph, she’s ‘thrilled’ to be able to bring the $100million production and hundreds of jobs to the local film industry, after it was sent crashing down by the coronavirus pandemic.
