Nicole Kidman steals the show at the Oscars

She has dazzled at dozens of Oscar ceremonies in the past.

But Nicole Kidman well and truly knocked it out of the ball park at the 90th Academy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday.

The 50-year-old actress showed off her slender figure in a stunning strapless form-fitting navy Armani Privé gown.

Looking a million dollars, the Big Little Lies star posed up a storm on the red carpet in the elegant frock. 

Nicole displayed her svelte waist in the bright number, placing her hands on her hips to accentuate her impressive figure. 

A large leg split directly up the center of the design drew further attention to the gown’s dramatic bow.

Strapless in design, the figure-hugging bodice gown offered a look at her enviably toned arms, with the heart-shaped top flaunting her bare decolletage.

Her luscious blonde locks were neatly parted in the center and tucked partially behind her ears in a sleek straight style.

She opted for flawless makeup consisting of light foundation, blush and bold red pout.

While in high spirits ahead of the Oscars, Nicole wasn’t pictured with her beloved husband Keith Urban. 

However, she posted a video to her Instagram prior to her arrival as she surprised a busload of unsuspecting tourists.

The 50-year-old actress was passing by an Access Hollywood tour of Los Angeles when she decided to roll down her window at a stoplight and say hello.

‘Hi, everyone,’ Kidman greeted the busload of people who couldn’t believe their eyes.

The tourists promptly got out their cameras to snap a photo of the movie star.

‘You look beautiful’ said another passenger.

‘I haven’t gotten my hair and makeup done yet, so,’ said the Big Little Lies star as she giggled and blew them a kiss goodbye. 

Nicole isn’t a nominee but will be presenting during the ceremony on Sunday along with Dame Helen Mirren, Emily Blunt and Sandra Bullock.

Last year, Nicole was forced to get crafty halfway through the Oscars ceremony after her Armani Privé gown appeared to give her a rash.

The dazzling frock’s sequined straps were in a crisscrossed racer back shape when Nicole arrived on the red carpet but she was later seen with them tied into a halter.

The straps dangled down her back and appeared to have frayed ends, suggesting Nicole or a stylist took a last minute pair of scissors to the custom made dress.
