Keith Urban gushes about wife Nicole Kidman’s generosity after she bid $150,000 on Hugh Jackman’s hat at a charity auction – as she continues to stay silent on Balenciaga scandal
Keith Urban has spoken about his wife Nicole Kidman’s incredible act of generosity after she purchased Hugh Jackman’s signed hat for $150,000 ($US100,000) for charity.
Nicole surprised audiences on Saturday when she attended Hugh’s Broadway show The Music Man in New York City for a good cause.

The country singer added his actress wife had ‘no idea’ she would give so much and that he was ‘so proud’ of her kind-hearted nature.
‘She’s known Hugh for ever and it’s a great cause. Good on her,’ he said.

Keith added that they had accumulated some unique items through charity auctions including a plastic horse signed by Australian singer Daryl Braithwaite.
Nicole has been close friends with Hugh ever since she co-starred with him in Baz Luhrmann’s epic 2008 movie Australia.
It comes after Nicole was criticised for refusing to denounce Balenciaga, despite a controversy that saw the company linked to a shoot that placed children alongside BDSM-themed items.

The Moulin Rouge actress stars in the fashion brand’s Spring 2023 campaign, which was unveiled last week just as the scandal broke.
Fans have since flooded the comment section of Nicole’s Instagram page with calls for her to denounce the brand or release a statement – which have so far gone unanswered because Kidman has kept quiet on the scandal.
Underneath the post, which was simply captioned with tags to Balenciaga’s creative team, fans wrote ‘shame on you’ and ‘I’d drop that campaign like a hot potato.’
Nicole, who shares daughters Sunday, 13, and Faith, 10, with Keith and two adopted children with ex Tom Cruise was also asked how she’d feel if her children had featured in the campaign.
