Nicole Richie put a stylish spin on California casual when she stepped out in Los Angeles this weekend.
The 39-year-old daughter of Lionel Richie threw a sleek tan sweater on over a boyfriend fit grey T-shirt and black leggings.
She accessorized with black sunglasses and a matching mask, rounding off the look with black and white Nike sneakers.

Nicole shot to fame as Paris Hilton’s best friend on the smash hit reality show The Simple Life and has since also carved out an acting career.
On the personal front she is married to Joel Madden who is best known as the lead singer of the band Good Charlotte.
Joel and Nicole have two children – Harlow, 13, and Sparrow, 11 – and Nicole has also founded a fashion line called House Of Harlow 1960.
Recently she announced on her Instagram that House Of Harlow is releasing a collection in collaboration with Nicole’s younger sister Sofia Richie.

Sofia shot to fame through high-profile relationships with first Justin Bieber and then Scott Disick and she also works as a model.
Last year during an interview with Marie Claire she reflected on her marriage which has now lasted for north of a decade.
‘I think it’s really important to enjoy the other person as an individual, not just as the role of your husband or the role of the father,’ she said.
‘Appreciate that person for who they are and really prioritize having fun together. I wish that there was some trick. There’s not. It’s two people growing into themselves.’

Recently she has also gotten heavily involved in gardening and gushed: ‘I love having the skill to know how to grow my own damn food.’
She added: ‘I think it’s such a privilege that we can possibly do that, and I love having that skill. I’ve actually thought about if there was ever an end-of-the-world moment and people were picking people who would be useful.’
Nicole dished: ‘My first thought was: “Ugh, no one’s going to pick me. I’m not really going to bust through any bushes or anything like that.” That’s not who I am. But they will save me because I know how to grow food.’
